Some older poems
"The Test"
Worry can drive a man insane.
Constantly walking in the rain.
Thoughts scatter and nothing is clear.
Sorrow has found me in the mirror.
Self-doubt is out and about
Parading around, I've got nothing to show.
How long is this show going to last?
God, I hope something happens fast.
Not sure if I'm right for the part.
Let's go back to the start.
Take away the worry.
Take away the pain.
I'm hanging on by a thread.
Just put this to rest
I think I've failed the test.
"Lucky"
Looking back
I wouldn't change a thing.
Seeing you
makes me wanna sing.
How lucky am I
that I found you?
How lucky am I
that you feel the same too?
Precious kisses, hit and misses
You fill my biggest wishes.
I was lost
before you said, "I love you."
Finding love
that can be so true.
Lying alone
tonight on my bed
Missing you
and all that you've said.
"You're the One"
Now's the time
I'm saying, "Goodbye" already.
It seems like I just said, "Hello".
It's so hard to watch you go.
You're the one
I think about to make me smile.
You're the one
who lets me change the dial.
You're the one
person I want to get close to
You're the one
that I hope will say "I do."
Now's the time
I'm saying, "Goodnight" already.
I'll be looking forward to saying, "Hello".
I just hope you know
You're the one
I think about to make me smile.
You're the one
who lets me change the dial.
You're the one
person I want to get close to
You're the one
that I hope will say "I do."
